Things To Do In Regina
Regina has a wealth of activities and adventures to be had.
With ample public transit reaching all areas of the city everyone can enjoy their day and keep fit or entertain themselves.

- Regina is the provincial seat of government with a spectacular Provincial Legislative Building, why not take a tour which can be arranged all year.
The legislative buildings were built between 1908 and 1912 and feature some excellent architectural designs including a large copper dome just refurbished in 2016. Check out the tour schedule while here www.legassembly.sk.ca - While at the Legislative grounds take a walk around Wascana Lake and enjoy some nature. You may just meet a Canadian Goose as you stroll along its shores. Many festivals and gatherings take place in Wascana park check out the Wascana Centre Authority for details. www.wascana.ca
- Regina is the Home to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Depot Division which is the national training Facility which al cadets pass through for training. The RCMP Acadamy as its also known features a variety of paraded and the world famous sunset ceremony held during summer months.
Do check out their website for schedules and times and enjoy. www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/depot - Wascana park is well appointed for any BBQ gathering. The center provides numerous large picnic table and grills through out the park. You will also find a few commercial vendors in the warmer season by the Wascana pool or in from of the legislative buildings near the water. Don't forget to wash up before grabbing those ppicnicoodies in one of the many washrooms provided around the lake.
- If you are into mountain biking or hiking Wascana trails is the idea location. Wascana Trails is a series of interconnected hiking and mountain biking trails just outside the city. - Wascana Waterfowl Park & Display Ponds
- Corner Gas was a Canadian comedy sitcom filmed entirely in Saskatchewan. The majority of Interior filming was done at the CanSask Sound Stage and exterior shots in great part near Regina. The fictional town of DogRiver featured in the sitcom is only a short drive away. It's actually located in Rouleau, Saskatchewan a short 41-minute drive (48.6 km) via Canam Hwy/SK-6 N and Hwy 714 for directions go here
